Teams

One set.
Every stand.

For a band that plays out. Any band room can become a team, when its owner is 18 or over.

Make this a team.

In a band room, the owner taps Make this a team. A team has a leader and a chair for every part.

The leader names the chairs: Keys, Bass, Vocal 2. Leading a team is for people 18 and over.

Who sits where

New in October 2026 · not on the beta's phones yet

Every chair, for every date.

The Leader's view shows who sits in which chair for each dated set. A member can sit down themselves.

Want to go over a passage? Ask to rehearse a part of this, and say which bars. Your name goes on it only if you choose.

Somebody standing in? Lend the chair: one link, and with no account it opens the set, its keys and that chair's marks, and no recording.

Rehearsal

One phone per player.

The leader taps Start recording the rehearsal. Every other phone shows Recording the rehearsal · record your part, and each player records their own part, close to them.

Afterwards, Line up the parts works out how the recordings line up. In Perform, each song then offers The band without you: everyone's take but yours, on one clock.

2:00 pm · Before the night

The sound tech gets the gig first.

Send the advance: the set order with each song's key and tempo, a stage plot, and an input list by chair.

One link, and no account needed to open it. The tech can send corrections to the input list and the plot before the show, and the link stops working 48 hours after it.

The names file for the desk carries channel names, colours and icons only. Not yet proven on a real desk.

A tech who has an account can keep the stage, from 18.

9:40 pm · On the night

The leader calls the next one.

Before the set: Keep the set for the stage on the leader's phone, Follow the stage on everyone else's.

The leader calls a song and a key. Every following stand turns to it, in its own reading. Bluetooth, phone to phone. No signal needed.

Lost the leader? Your page stays where it is.

  • A Bluetooth page-turner pedal works in Perform.
  • Play the set walks it one song at a time, with words large enough for the stand.

11:15 pm · Record the night

New in October 2026 · not on the beta's phones yet

The night, cut into songs.

One phone on the mic stand records the whole set as one recording, and cuts it into songs on the phone. Pin a moment as it happens. The screen must stay on.

Hear it back. Afterwards, Keep the night as a folder: one WAV per song, from bar 1, that lines up in Logic.

Record the night from your pocket stays private until the leader claims it and every player says yes. One no keeps it private.

After the night

New in October 2026 · not on the beta's phones yet

The desk sends the night home.

In a browser on a computer, drop the desk's multitrack folder. The app finds each song of the set in the night.

Each player gets their own channel of each song, as a take they are asked to keep.

In a browser on a computer, not on a phone.

What it costs

Nothing, while nothing is on sale.

Teams cost nothing while nothing is on sale. A team is never shown outside its room.

Bring your band.

The beta is small and free, and I read everything that comes back.
